Mr. Kindergarten

School started this week for the usual cast of characters but it was the big time debut of a promising young student named Jacob. Conforming to local tradition he pedaled off to the open house with his Dad on Monday and then Tuesday he boarded the big yellow bus like it was no big deal.

You can see from the pictures below that the neighbor kids were all out and in good form. Its been a sun shine filled week and so far all reports from school have been positive.

    Mr. Kindergarten looks great, it’s his Dad I wonder about. :-)

    Also — keep an eye on that kid in the Vikings sweatshirt. He might be up to no good. :-)

    These make me want to cry, with equal parts relief and sadness that our babies are growing up. Jake is rocking kindergarten!

    How exciting! By Jake’s account, Kindergarten is GREAAAT and Maddie is excited about 3rd grade as well. This record is precious as are all the neighborhood kids.

    Looks like everyone is very happy to be going to school. That’s great! But what are they carrying in those huge backpacks? Is Jake taking all his trains to school and Maddie all her art supplies? Inquiring minds want to know. Great pics.
