Birthdays can be fun, but birthdays can also be tough. Not everyone likes the idea that things change, even if those changes come with presents. Lately there has been significant discussion around the house about Jake growing up. He insists that he is still little, which is true. But sooner or later, as Ziggy says, “Small people one day will get big.”

For today he is our little guy–a birthday boy full of silly energy and boundless enthusiasm….
