Tonight Maddie’s third great class had a choir concert. They’ve been preparing since the start of school and the results were quite impressive. I’ve been to a few choir concerts in my days and I think I can safely say this was my absolute favorite.
Maddie wore a special dress that her Grandma Merideth gave her–she looked great and was beaming as the pictures below demonstrate. She also had a solo in one of the songs and I don’t think I’m biased at all in saying it was my absolute favorite.
The only disappointment was that the kids didn’t sing “Sunrise, Sunset” from Fiddler on the Roof. I think you know what I’m saying here…

Bravo – Connor jumped in our lap as we listened to Maddie’s solo. I think he wanted to come through the computer to the concert!!!!! You were sooooo wonderful you made Grandma Merideth cry tears of joy.
