Dramatic Opera / Flute Recital

Carmen is an opera so I guess we all know what that means: the title character is killed in the final scene and her lover is left to weep over her body. It makes for a dramatic finish to a spicy score. Great subject for the recent Suzanne flute recital!

Today she and the other students of her fabulous teacher Julie Johnson gathered for a lovely recital at the new McPhail Center for the Arts. Beautiful day for flute and the crowd was not disappointed!
